PERCUSSION I MUSIC THEORY
Yanal Staiti is a Palestinian musician, percussion, and theory teacher. He received his training in traditional oriental percussion under the guidance of Tariq Rantisi at the Al Kamandjati Association in Jenin. Yanal’s musical journey includes notable roles as a member of the Palestine Arab Music Ensemble and the Ramallah Symphony Orchestra.
Expanding his repertoire, Yanal pursued studies in classical percussion at the Bordeaux Conservatory in France, where he delved into jazz and contemporary improvisation. Since September 2018, he has served as a percussion and theory teacher, as well as an academic and artistic coordinator with the Alkamandjati Association.
Yanal’s talents have graced stages worldwide, including appearances at prestigious festivals such as the WOMAD festival in Australia and New Zealand. With his diverse musical background and unwavering commitment to education, Yanal continues to captivate and inspire audiences with his enchanting rhythms.
