SONJA HAMILTON

Sonja Hamilton is a passionate and talented music instructor with over a decade of teaching experience, helping students of all ages and skill levels – from beginners to advanced musicians – achieve their musical goals since 2010. A proud graduate of the prestigious Duke Ellington School of the Performing Arts, Sonja’s musical journey began with private lessons at an early age, and she now brings over 40 years of combined training and experience in classical piano, cello, and voice to her teaching.

Sonja’s lessons are thoughtfully designed to inspire confidence, creativity, and a lifelong love for music. She introduces a variety of musical styles to keep her students engaged and uses effective teaching techniques to build a strong foundation in music theory, sight-reading, and musicianship. For advanced students, she teaches fluid piano techniques to refine their skills.
