MOHAMMAD KARZON

Mohammad Karzon was born and raised in Ramallah, Palestine. With a deep passion for music, Mohammad has performed worldwide as a solo artist and with renowned ensembles, including the UpBeat Trio, Ens O Jam, the Palestine Youth Orchestra, and the Palestine National Orchestra.

He holds the equivalent of a BA in Classical Percussion from the Conservatory d’Angers and a BA in Music Pedagogy from the Conservatory de Toulouse in France. After completing his studies, Mohammad returned to Palestine, where he spent a decade teaching at esteemed institutions such as the Al Kamandjati School and the Edward Said National Conservatory of Music.

Recognized as one of the most sought-after percussionists in Palestine and the Middle East, Mohammad excels in both classical and Arab percussion. He is now based in Washington, D.C., continuing to share his expertise and passion for music.
