Quartertonez Music is thrilled to offer a 4-week beginner Dabke dance course specifically designed for teenagers ages 14-17. This engaging program will be taught by Malikat Al Dabke (Queens of Dabke), the first all-female Dabke troupe in the DC metropolitan area
Skill Development
Teens will learn the foundational Dabke techniques and steps, focusing on mastering rhythm, coordination, and essential dance movements from various Arab traditions.
Cultural Exploration
Participants will delve into the vibrant world of Dabke, gaining insight into its cultural heritage and the communal spirit it represents.
Performance Showcase
The course will culminate in a dynamic performance where students will have the opportunity to demonstrate their new skills and celebrate their achievements.
